So, from what I have researched, a trd is basically a pre runner with different shocks and a locker. Would my rear end be able to handle a locker? or should I put on an LSD? I am mostly on road, but I would like to have something better than one tire fire when I go to the beach which I do about twice a month, and when i got back home to mississippi after hurricanes are roads are impassable and littered with obstacles.

Misinformation aside, yes you can lock your rear axle without any problems. Assuming it's installed properly.

You'd be surprised. Pretty common used car dealer skam. Slap on a sticker and mark it up a couple grand.
