Haha, I wish. I'm an hour or so south of Denver.

At this point, this is a running log to keep track of what I'll need and an idea of overall cost. I have other debts and things to get out of the way before I can clear this with the fiancee and actually start doing work.

I hear you. We payed off all our debt 5-6 years ago just owed on the house. Makes life a lot easier when the debt goes away.

The carrier bearing crossmember for the rear driveshaft is also in a different location for the prerunner and 4x4. You can go through the trouble of removing the rivets and relocating the crossmember further back (the holes should already be in the frame) and bolting on a 4x4 driveshaft, or take the easier route and have your existing driveshaft modified. Shorten the front section and replace the slip yoke with a flange, and add a slip to the rear section. I did the latter and added greasable u-joints at the same time.

It took me a couple years to gather all the 4x4 parts. I was patient and found great deals on the important stuff. It was well worth the money and trouble for me.

The transmission crossmember is one thing, I'm also mentioning the carrier bearing because not many people do.

    :ohsnap: I read that wrong.
Yeah, I haven't read anything that mentions the carrier bearing yet. Thanks for the heads up on that.

Actually, you could just get a one piece driveshaft, that might be the best option for you. My DCLB is too long for a one piece.
