PreRunner / Spindle Lift Q&A: Why Aren't There More Options?

I know there are a ton of threads regarding spindle lifts (primarily MaxTrac) out there already, but I wanted to throw this question out to the TW Community about one particular aspect of spindle lifts that I find sort of baffling.

Why do all the aftermarket companies that make spindle lifts only make 3.5 - 4 inch spindle lifts?

    Here's why I ask...

A spindle lift seems like a great option for a few reasons:
1.) You maintain OEM geometry and get additional ground clearance.
B.) The stock spindle is one of the weakest, most vulnerable components of a Tacoma's IFS.
4.) They aren't that expensive (well, Maxtrac at least).

So, that being said, why doesn't some manufacturer offer more options??????????

For instance, if you could chose between a 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 inch options, I would think A LOT more people would be interested.

For instance, if there were a 2" spindle lift available in the marketplace you could beef up the strength of the IFS, get more ground clearance, throw on your choice of rear AAL or leaf pack (to get 1.5" lift) and end up with a dead level PreRunner.

    WHAT. IS. THE DEAL?

Costs a lot of money to have 1/2" increments.

There's a lot of options on the market, most are met with what currently exists and have so many options, in fact, they get confused and can't commit to one.

Imagine having 6 spindles to pick.

    People would literally die.

Imagine the number and variation of lift threads.

    Because it's still 2wd.

And even if you are making some kind of actual baja vehicle, all that stuff gets ripped out anyway, so spindles don't matter.
