Prerunner v. 4X4 Rear Mudflaps

Anybody know if the rear prerunner flaps are identical to the 4X4 except for the big white letters. I am not a big fan of the big in your face 4X4 on my flaps and was thinking of eliminating them but I like the protection they offer. If the prerunner ones are the same just without the letters I would like to swap them out.

 

I would think the flaps are identical. Another advantage to swapping would be you could trim them 3 inches shorter without the writing looking chopped off. Hmmm...

 

Is there a problem?

 

they are identical, traded mine off of my 4x with a guy with a prerunner. I like the no 4x4 emblem on the prerunner flaps. And I guess he is a wannabe.
