Didn't read anyone's posts but im 2wd with locker. I can get up it easy. Just air down to 10 psi all 4 tires. If you get stuck a shovel might not get you out so be prepared to ask for help. As long a you don't stop in deep sand you should be fine. I always climb up, do some drifts and what not at the top, go down, and do it all over again.

Don't stop anywhere but facing downhill.

Don't come to a sudden stop, your tires will dig in and you won't be able to get going again.

    Bring a shovel.

Donuts + aired down = likely to push tire off the bead, just so you know. You can also end up getting sand between the tire and the wheel; which will leak air until you unseat the tire and clean the bead out.

Dunes in a 2WD is doable, but you will need to recognize your limitations and stay sharp.
