Ive seen several pics of guys with Camburg spindles on 2008 - 2012 Prerunners but all of them running 285/70's have spidertrax spacers and the wheels stick out pretty far. Is this needed to run this size tire without rubbing?
Id like to do the camburg spidle lift but I dont want the wheels to stick out.
I like to keep them in the wheel wells.

what do you camburg spindle lift guys have to say?

Most guys that run spindles do not have wheel spacers. It is the spindle itself that pushes the wheel out a little bit.

No spacers on mine, the spindle is 3/4" wider per side. I think it looks much better a little wider.

i am running 285/75/16 with no spacers and no problems at all. It is true that the spindle does push out the wheel a little bit farther for a wider stance. but its not by that much.
