I got CalTrend's "I Can't Believe It's Not Leather" seat covers on my '18 GMC Canyon.

The white arrow shows where the tucked in "flap" to address the side airbags.

I circled the portion below where there is a gap between the new seat covers and the oem cloth. It's like a "bubble" for lack of a better word. It does not follow the contours of the seat. Do you guys have this issue with this brand?

Mine does it some. If I took it back out and worked on it I bet I could tighten down more. Just not worth the hassle

thinking about getting a set of the prestige covers for my truck since i have a baby coming in sept. Figure it will be worth it just to keep the cloth seats from getting wrecked from spills and car seat wear alone.

Did the rear seats and headrests. Not bad. Hands and fingers will be hurting for sure. I’ll finish the rest Saturday morning.

That’s the difficult part. When you remove the plastic panel you will see the holes that the plastic clicks to but it’s not easy to find when the covers are on. I used a square and tape measure to figure out the initial position then went by feel.

They still have these listed on Facebook Marketplace (San Antonio Tx) . Looks like their website is down though.

Do you recommend these over the Clazzios?

I would compare these to the Clazzio vinyl covers. I had a set of the Clazzio leather seat covers on my last Tacoma. I also have a friend that have the Clazzio vinyls on his Tacoma. The fitment of these vinyl covers listed on Facebook marketplace are very good as are the Clazzios. I’ve had mine installed for 7 months and so far they’ve held up great.
Hopefully they wear as good as the Clazzios!

Not sure of the seat covers listed on Amazon but they do look very similar to the covers listed on facebook. May be the same people who make both…
You may message the guy on Facebook as he had several configurations and thread colors available when I purchased mine. He was selling them for $250 shipped when I purchased mine. I ended up with the black diamond with red thread.

Do you have to remove the middle rear seat belt to install that piece?

Yes, there is an anchor bolt that holds that middle belt under the seat that needs to be removed. Then you can run the belt through the slot on that cover and then reinstall the seat belt anchor bolt.
