I didn't get to see what all the fuss was about. I had everything. Only got a couple things kicked to reclean then went back to turn it in then I was done. I should thank my lucky stars.

When I went through. I had maybe 4-5 items get kicked back. I didn't do anything to them. just went to lunch came back and there was another checker that looked at the items, took them and all was good.
Just a matter of who you get I guess.

CIF was torture. Nothing made them happy. I had brand new items just purchased from Clothing & Sales get kicked back as dirty for both PCS moves.

Clearing CIF at ETS was easy though. I still managed to get in one last night jump and a three week field deployment AFTER my ETS physical (I wasn't supposed to go anywhere after the physical but my name stayed on the manifest so just played along...it was either that or three weeks of radio watch/CQ). They pulled me from the field three days before my ETS date. I didn't have enough time to finish clearing so CIF was told to take what I had - most of it was still dirty.
