Hey guys, you will know much better then me as a starting point for selling my truck. I’ve loved every minute with this truck but it’s time. Here’s the details. Let me know what you think I can start at. Thank you so much!!

    -2004 Tacoma TRD Xrta Cab
    -Red Color
    -6-Cylinder Manual
    -210,000 Miles
-New Frame, Shocks, Struts, Upper and lower ball joints, brake lines, transmission lines, leaf springs and Tyrod ends and a alignment in January 2019
-Timing Belt and Water pump done at 160,000
    -4 wheel drive works great
    -Oil Changes every 5000
    -Paint looks look for age
-The truck has relatively low amounts of rust on the body. The most rust is on the front bumper which I would say just needs to be replaced. The body and rockers are very solid.
-Tires will need to be replaced
-Exhaust will need to be replaced
-Check Engine light is on (evap)
    -No Horn
    -Cruise Control does not work
-Interior is in decent shape for age
-A few small dents in roof
-The truck really does run great and has very solid main components
    -Engine is strong

    Always important!

My truck doesn't even have power windows, but A/C is one thing I will not go without!

Do you have any pics of your truck?

I agree, start around $8K. Where are you located? That has a lot to do with pricing too

You can throw KBB out the window when it comes to pricing Toyota pickups.

With your description, not able to pass inspection (CEL, horn), items not working and items needing replacement I think you should be excited to get $5k cash.

Not saying it's a bad truck. Could be a perfect hunting vehicle, etc.

Tip. Instead of saying 'engine is strong' run a compression check and have those numbers available for a buyer. Certainly a smart buyer is going to have that done pre purchase anyway.

Curious what 'transmission lines' you spec being replaced on a transmission that uses a clutch?

Thank for the info. Good call on that, when the frame was replaced the dealer told me they replaced all the lines under the truck, I’m not an expert on truck mechanics at all and assumed there were transmission lines but ya since it’s a stick it shouldn’t have those.

After paying my deductible, I think I'd get somewhere in the neighborhood of $8,000-$10,000 if my truck got totaled...
