Toyota Tacoma 05-15 E-locker TRD Off-road Rear Differential And Housing 3rd 3.73.

Came off a 2014 TRD: Off-Road @ 171k mi. Shock mounts setup for Archive garage relocate; will need similar shock relocate or new mounts. Working fine when pulled.

Gears serviced May 2022 by Tandem Off-Road in Haltom city, roughly 865mi on gears before I swapped the axle.

$1200 obo. I'm not firm on price so let's make a deal or trade.

Break yours or strip a ring gear? This is cheaper than a shop rebuild.

 

When you say “gears serviced”, does that mean the center section was pulled? And they tore it down? Were any seals or bearings replaced? Or just serviced as in the gear oil was changed?

 

I stripped the factory ring gear, so they replaced it and anything else that appeared damaged or worn:

But shortly after this was done, another user here was selling his front/rear diffs with 4.88's and ARB air lockers... so I upgraded.

 

Man I’m so tempered to get rid of my Detroit locker, I’d just have to regear if.

With the cost, it’s cheaper just for me to order a replacement locker for my 3rd member and reinstall it

What price would be competitive with what you're seeing?

 

I mean, i see these go do 1000-1200 all day long so i don’t think your price is far off,

but I’d have to re gear it to 5:29 to work in my truck, and I’m currently regeared and locked with a Detroit locker

i was gonna buy it to save my self the cost of a new e locker but between the cost of the axle plus shipping for Me and a new ring and pinion with rebuild kit,
I’m better off just buying the e locker for my third member now and scrapping the Detroit
