    how long ago? that is literally a great deal! ... a non-mint 96 4cyl single popped up locally for $6999 with 230k+ miles

    ... cannot find anything nearly comparable for less than 12k to 15k in the whole USA, including one i found in Hawaii
    i do not do exhaustive searches, just an occasional random carguru type, usually they are used dealers far away


    perhaps driving up and down every street looking for 'For Sale' by owner signs in windows is a better idea
