I got a price quote of $330 to have my new leaf packs and shocks installed. They said that they would throw in a free alignment. Is this a reasonable price? I've never had this type of work done so I don't have any idea what this would cost.

That's about right with alignment. I wouldn't consider the alignment free. I was charged 250 for install of aal and shocks plus 80 for alignment so 330 is right there.

You think that price would be the same at a toyota dealership?

At my shop i usually would charge around $175 to r&r some leafs and rear shocks.. Alignment would be an additional $79
So its not crazy out of line, but I think that if you tried to bargain a little w/ the times being the way they are they should go down.. No one here on the west coast at least is busy enough to really not bargain a little.. Really a pretty easy job that can be done in probably an hour w/ a lift plus the alignment.. Going rate for automotive hourly is around $79-$90hr..

    good luck

Depends. My Toyota dealer charges $95/hourly. By comparison, the performance truck shop down the street charges $75/hourly.

Ok then, so its basically the same, and if you can bargain might as well try and save a couple bucks.

I work for this guys dad and thought maybe he would give me a decent deal since he owns a shop. He quoted me $500 for install of my lift, no alignment included. I said hell with that and me and my cousin banged it out in 2 hours.
