I am not a slider guy I swapped the one in my Lightning, and with a dbl cab Tacoma I can't reach it to open and close it without getting in the back seat.
There is only two seasons here Hot and not.
A/C WFO in the HOT times and just crack the 4 windows if I want to flow air around in better weather.
Picked up a TRD exhaust from a fellow in town and it stuck out the back a bit on the way home. Didn't think about putting it through the window.
Guess I could have and run the tip out the rear side window too, that would have been something to see going down the road.

 

Awesome price on sliders. I have a DC and I use my slider almost everyday. Now if it was only a power roll down like tundra's, it would be perfect.

 

AGHHH!!!!!! that would be sooo sweet. I've been dying to get the full roll downs. I always get the stupid slider windows

 

I've never heard of anyone who would PREFER the solid window (though I can see your logic in it), so I'm sure you could easily find someone willing to swap with you. Heck, I'd do it myself if I lived a little closer. That's one of the few options that I really wanted in my truck, but I couldn't justify the cost.

 

lol sorry bout that, I wanted a full window but to roll down like how the sport tracs have them.

 

I'm waiting for a reasonably priced power slider for the 2nd generations. I'll have to shop in the U.S. since everything here in Canada is almost double the price.

 

Don't forget the 340 probably doesn't include the wiring for defrost ...

 

I think the solid (larger) piece of glass would cost more than 3 smaller pieces?

 

Then there's hardware to consider. But the prices have probably changed since this thread is over a year and a few months old.
