Yep, heard about these mystery dealers, I also heard they are like big foot. When you think you have spotted one and you go into talk numbers you find that it’s above MSRP for market adjustment, or some other game they are playing like adding $1500 for their dealerships package that isn’t negotiable.

Hopefully sometime soon they will offer more deals but other than their small rebates here and there and the incentive that they have for certain areas is all your going to be lucky enough to find.

Nah, it’s legit with these guys. Surprisingly. They are a no hagle dealer though which is why I bought my 2018 elsewhere. No additional adjustments. Just taxes, title, and doc. They do try to push their dealer extended warranty though. Found that out when my wife was looking for a new SUV.

I chatted with a guy last month about a few Offroads they had coming in unspoken for and he broke out all the numbers including Oregon’s fairly new half percent “taxes”. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had only a few unspoken for in transit these days.

Dealer near me in nw connecticut has been selling below msrp forever. They move quite a few trucks a month. I've cut some really great cash dales with them in the past as long as their selling off the lot.

Start posting these dealers names and links if possible. Lots of members waiting on trucks and can’t find anything under MSRP and most are MSRP or marking above MSRP.

Nor is there many dealers with any inventory and if they do have trucks coming in they are pre-sold.

So do all these members a favor and say what dealer these are at that way they can contact them to get a truck. Plenty of members have done the fly and and buy and this would help them out or someone willing to take the drive or fly out to secure a truck.

Hopefully these are fully verified trucks on the lot as well as the below MSRP price when it’s said and done. Seen too many times people post about the dealer posting it’s under MSRP until they get there and find out otherwise and have to back out of a deal. But if you are going to guarantee these dealers have these trucks on the lot and under MSRP do everyone a favor and post up these names. It would help tremendously for those looking.

I’m referring to TRD Off-Road, Sports, & SR5 4x4 when we refer to what most members are looking for and can’t find under MSRP, or not marked up. So if these fall in that category then definitely post up those names.

Take a breath, man. Beaverton Toyota. When I texted with the last guy he had 3 long bed Offroads in transit not called for. Most are short beds around here so I was surprised about that. One of the three a guy had just backed out of but two never had been reserved.

I don’t like this dealer as they don’t hagle and they have been less than helpful with my rear diff leak and howl. But their Clear price is everything minus taxes, title, and fees. They move a lot of cars and have an auxiliary lot that holds a chunk of rigs (during the good times at least). When both my wife was looking for an suv and me my truck they had a my shit don’t stink attitude. Now, they may be your best bet here in Oregon for a new rig.

Edit: Your next best bet around here is Wilsonville Toyota. Like Beaverton they don’t haggle in the good times. They have a “No Bull” price ha But they were confirmed few hundred below msrp a few months. It just wasn’t as good as what Beaverton was offering at the time. Plus, they didn’t have near the Tacoma’s in transit that Beaverton did.

Damn, these numbers you're throwing around are insane. When I first started looking for my first Tacoma last summer, I wanted a '19 SR5 V6 Access Cab, because I heard it was the last full year they were "made" in San Antonio. I like the access cab for the suicide door b/c I take a lot of showers next to my truck (athlete) and don't want to expose my junk to passers-by. Anyway, I got mine for $30k out the door and was grumbling about it, but it was one of the few 19's left in South Florida. Now with this whole Rona-caused supply problem, I knew my truck was worth more than I paid, but so what. I want to drive it the rest of my life. Cheers.

re wilsonville: when i was shopping for a tacoma i used their online quote system to get the "one price, no bull" from them. i did it 4 times for same truck and got 4 different numbers, though 2 were close. bull.
i wound up at beaverton toyota. very inflexible and one dickhead in service but some very good people there too. glad it is over.

Yeah, not a fan of their "no bull" price crap. Same with Beaverton's Clear price non negotiable price. I bought my 2018 from Kendall in Eugene as they offered over $2,000 more off than Beaverton, Gladstone, Wilsonville, etc were offering. This was 2nd week 2018's landed here and the other dealers offers were only good for 2017's. I really enjoyed Kendall, but they are a much smaller dealer so I doubt they have many (if any) Tacoma's unspoken for right now.

My truck goes back to Beaverton in 2 weeks for 3rd brake light fix and for them to look at my rear diff for the 1,000th time... I really hate their service, but they are close and are listed as my servicing dealer. I need to change that. They are a big high volume dealer, but their service is always full and slowwww.

    re beaverton service:
i bought summer of 2018 and quickly noticed differential seep. they gave me new gasket no questions and has not leaked since.
now, the party line is a seep is not a leak and "they all do it" which is technically the definition of normal. if your differential problem is a seep, you will have a problem.

i had a problem with ONE service rep. complete asshole. he was "advising" my advisor and does not appear on my service record. i eventually wound up talking to service manager and he advised me to talk to main shop guys.
excellent shop guy test drove and fixed problem (deceleration vibration). i got to the shop guy thru the service manager. normally not accessible if you are a walk in.
    just my experience...hope it helps.

I’m good I have a 2021 TRD Pro Lunar Rock, I’m as calm as ever. There are members on here everyday trying to find inventory or have been screwed waiting on a truck that never shows up. The lots are empty and when members post that these dealers have inventory their first thing is to jump up and go see what they can get and find out that all are spoken for, or they want a mark up for dealer adjustment. So when these resources are legit and reliable it’s useful information.

If you ever look on the “ How long did you wait for you 2021” thread you would see what I’m talking about. It’s been hard to come by and none are really getting a great deal or even able to locate a truck.

Just got my Super White Offroad 4x4 Access Cab last week for MSRP in Virginia. I almost bought an SR5 at another dealer had a 4k markup. I offered them MSRP and they were willing to meet me halfway, so I walked and went to the other dealer. They offered MSRP so I pulled the trigger.

The next morning the other dealer called and said they would sell to me at MSRP.

Yeah, I got to know their old shop manager Paul really really well for the rear diff howl. He was actually a decent guy but Toyota wouldn’t do a thing as my SR5 was not a TRD. Hell, even the Toyota engineer they sent out to drive my truck told me that my howl was the same howl as the TRDs, but only the TRDs got the TSB. Since the diffs were different that’s how they could say no to mine. His hands were tired from higher up the food chain. At least he looked at it ha

Beaverton said they did torque the nuts last time. Now I am sure they will just call it normal. Granted mine started seeping after only a few thousand miles. Enough Tacomas are seeping/weeping that they passed it off as “normal” now. Wouldn’t that make the ones not doing it not normal? Ha

I’m pretty much done with it though. Truck will be gone next year as I need to move into a full size. I’ve only owned Tacoma’s my entire life so that will be a sad day.

No, I understand completely. I literally only said my local dealer has been selling below msrp through this mess which they have been. I didn’t claim they had every model and unicorn on their lot or that it was easy to find any model. Just that this dealer was selling what they had for a few hundred off. Finding the exact model to a T that a person wants is entirely different story. I don’t blame people for trying to find exactly what they want. If you are going to pay msrp and have to wait for it you might as well get it spec’d exactly to your liking. However, that is an absolute nightmare to do these days. Stinks!

Heres the thing I find super interesting about prices on used tacomas. Dealers say people are actually paying these crazy high prices but if you look at the carfax they have been for sale almost a month!!! A local dealer to me has 37 used Tacomas and the majority of them have been there for several weeks to over a month. Sorry I dont buy that people are paying $45k for used SR5's or $48k for base TRD OR. Even if they are certified that cost is maybe $3k not $8k over MSPR.

If you have a used tacoma and the dealer wants to pay you crazy amount take it. In the near future dealers are going to be stuck with these trucks they over paid for.

C’mon man…give it up. Of the 6, on the Torrington site, 5 are in transit and don’t list a price. The other is MSRP.
Hundreds of people here on TW that have been beating the streets for months say nobody is doing less than MSRP. Just like in the other thread you are trying to convince them all that they’re wrong. Trust me, I am used to getting discounts too. Just not happening right now.
