Hey guys wanted to start off by saying I have found ALOT of good info on here already but wanted to know what you guys thought of this. I am currently driving a 2012 GMC 4x4 CC dually but sold my dozer and my normal job quit paying our fuel costs so have no need for that big of truck. Anyway They're giving me a fair amount for my truck of $44K. There truck is a 2013 super white DCLB 4x4, V6/auto with SR5 package and tow package with ball mount, window tint, premium carpet and door sill protectors. MSRP on it is $31,901. He told me $30215 OTD. Im not paying sales tax because of trade just title and doc fees. One thing that I dont really like is it only comes with the 16" steel wheels which I guess might be a good thing cause I would like to upgrade and no sense in paying for a factory option I dont like. Do yall think this is a good price or try to beat him up some more? It all sounds cheap to me being as my dually stickered for $60K....LOL! This is at Cowboy Toyota in Dallas. I wish I could find the dealer that this truck was AT, there having to dealer trade for it. Let me know what yall think. Appreciate it!

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Sounds good. Tell them to slap that supercharger thingy on it, too.

Here in the Twins cities their selling them $3000.00 off sticker with out asking on 13's. Because 14's are on there way. Try and get them to $3000.00 of sticker.

Well from what I read on the pricing thread Texas is the worst place to buy one due to the Gulf States something or another....not sure what that means. I think he has some wiggle room. I told him 29.5 OTD and sign me up and I think Im gona stick to that. I will play the "wheels suck" sob story and I gotta upgrade dealio.

*they're........*their. Couldn't resist when it's used wrong twice in the same post. ;)

OP, you're not getting much off the sticker.....if that OTD price included sale tax then I would say it was a good deal. I would tell them $29,500 OTD and you'll sign now, see what they say.

That's where I bought mine last week. 2013, white, DCSB, 4x4 V6 auto, SR5, Towing pkg... I specifically asked for no extras like floor mats, door sill protectors, as I'm getting my own aftermarket. I settled on $28,650 + TTL. After my trade-in, I paid about $800 tax.

I didn't haggle much. I bet, for yours, even though it has those extras & it's a long bed, you could still get it lower.

    Try this

I'd bet you can do better. In June I bought a '13 DCSB 4x4 V6 SR5 6sp with the tow package for 28,480 plus tax & reg. Window sticker was just under 31k. Keep in mind it's just about a 1year old truck. 5 years from now if you go to sell it, no matter how you cut it a '13 will go for less than a '14 even though you (and I) bought it at the end of the model year. I bought a price guide from consumers reports for 14.95 and it gave me the lowest price from all of the on line pricing tools. The dealer I bought it from wasn't in the on line pricing program but he matched the price without much effort leading me to believe there probably was even more room to go a bit lower if I was in a haggling mood. Good luck.

It's getting better. He got that deal in June. I bought mine 2 weeks ago. DCSB TRD off road with tow, 6 speed. Paid 28,380. And they added the clear bra. And I didn't have to walk out on them. Sticker was $32,000. They had a sale for $30k. I said 28k, they countered 28.5k. I said meet me in the middle, the. He said this is the best I can do. $28.380. I said add the clear bra and you got a deal. Easiest deal I've ever made on a truck.

Great price to me!! If you can get him to come down to 29.5 that would be an awesome deal. Mine is a 2010 Sport DCSB and on KBB still valued at 27.5k with 55k miles on it.

Well so far the most aggressive is Cowboy and Ft Worth. Cowboy is setting pretty firm on there $30,215, but got the salesman cut out and talkin to the sales manager now. I told him $29.5 OTD which is right in line with what Crodliner got off his.....I told him if you can do it for that cat you can do it for me. Talked to Ft. Worth and he told me he didnt have what I was looking for but could get it. Stickered for $31824, invoiced for $30,405 and he would sell for $400 back from invoice.....basically the same price Cowboy is at after title and license fee. Hmm.

Yeah, not worth any more stress over a couple hundred bucks. Sounds like a decent price to me.

Were in finance department now. He said he thought he could get me 1.9%. If there above 2.9 Im gona tell em to shove it. Got my dually for 2.65% and my personal bank can do 2.9 at the drop of a hat.

One can never have too many light bars.
I got mine for 1.8% in CA. They can make Toyota Finance rate whatever they want. 1.9% is better than nothing if you went to a bank so they should be able to do it. Just agree with the dealer that if your credit checks out it will be 1.9%

Well I know the finance dept can jack up the rate to get them some kickback. Example....TF says 1.9% and the finance guy tells me 2.5 then he gets the .6%. Should be hearing back from him anytime.
