What would be a typical and/or really good price for the below configuration?

    2016 Tacoma SR5
    4x4, 3.5L V6 Engine, 6-Speed Automatic
Access Cab, 6 ft. Standard Bed
    MSRP - $32,570

I'm just not sure what they are going for and what the actual invoice price is. This is probably a fairly common configuration I would think.

MSRP is $31,070 With Delivery I have no idea where you are getting MSRP of $32,500 without any options listed.

Invoice without options is around $29,219 (inc Delivery)
    With Towing $29798

So go from there and add what you are willing to pay.

$500 above Invoice is doable for many dealers.

Ah, it included the $1,500 for the SR5 Appearance Package (850) and tow package (650)... Don't think I would need the appearance package though...

Use truecar.com and I would say if you are less than $500 above invoice. That is a fair price.

$30,000 with towing and ($850)appearance package would be a sweet price

    damn straight.

It is what it is, I would have loved to gotten it for a few thousand cheaper but it just isn't going to happen around here. Ordred a limited 2wd blue, they said you can take the next one coming in in a few days, OR you can wait about 5 months for the next set...They were probably full of crap about the 5 months, I'm sure I could have ordered one but, I just took the one they have coming in .

Really? MSRP of 32,570 and getting it for 30,000 would be a sweet price? I'm not doubting it, that's why I asked in the first place. I think I would pay the 30k, but might have a hard time going higher than that...

I have been having a hard time finding a good deal in and around the Houston area. I emailed several dealers and most would ask for msrp or maybe a few hundred dollars below. Total rip off

The only actual quote I got was ~$500 off MSRP from:
    Babatunde Samuel
    bsamuel@sterlingmccalltoyota.com
    Internet Sales Manager
    Sterling McCall Toyota

I think they are the number two volume dealer in Houston.

You would be VERY fortunate to get that truck at $30K (plus tax title) with $850 appearance and towing,

    Good to know, thanks.
I'm guessing that also in a month or two when supply goes up maybe the deals will be easier to come by...

doubt it. even at the end of the year 2016, you MIGHT save a couple hundred. But there really isn't much mark up in these trucks. Not as much as people think. The best thing for you is to find a sale where you get 0% APR that is what will really save $$$$. You can get a great deal up front but that won't mean shit if you have a 4% interest rate. I paid just under $36,000. By the time my loan is paid off, I will have paid $41,000. MSRP is only HALF the battle.

$5000 in interest? That's over 10% of your loan. Must be 72 months?
That is a lot of interest!! PenFed has 1.5% for 36 and 1.99 for 60

Those 72 month loans absolutely crush buyers equity. My rule is no more than 30 months. If i cannot pay it off in 30 months I can't afford it.

Ya... Chase screwed me on interest rate. I plan on re-financing in a couple months to get a better rate. My problem is, my tade in was only worth $4,100 so I ended up borrowing $31,000. Then they convinced me to borrow over 7 years so the payment would be lower. What they didn't tell me is that the interest rate is a A LOT lower if you only borrow for 5 years or less. So ya I got screwed. Can you tell this was my first "New Car" buying experience? I plan on re financing with Bank of America next year. They will be able to get me down to 2.25%.
