is it me or when I Kbb(ed) this 2019 tacoma that I am planning on purchasing, the price difference between the Sport and OR is completely different with the same packages. The Sport was saying it could be from 36-39k while the OR says 32-35k. I'm wondering why is the sport more "expensive" when it has less features than the OR

It's not, something isn't right. ORs actually tend to command higher resale and pros even more.

That is what I am wondering. IDK why the resale value of the sport according to KBB is alot higher than the OR

It's not. Something is not right, either mileage, options, owners, 4wd non 4wd, etc. No used 19 should be anywhere near $39k, I paid that for a brand new 2020 loaded.

If you go to KBB and put in the same specs, its a huge difference. 3-5k at least

The two I compared was that way. OR was cheaper with tech package. Sport 4x4 without tech was about $500 more.

Ya not sure where you got the $39k. Both should be worth about $35k.

Cool story bro. KBB is KBB, same MSRP new, both command similar prices resale used / same residual value over time. Buy the skewp or the locker, whatever works for you, but one is not worth significantly more than the other come resale.

But I'm not wrong and not mad at all. Comical you think a Sport is worth more.

That’s not what I said. Comical to upgrade for LED headlights though.
What I said was, well, you can read can’t you? I chose the sport cause it was manual. The end.

Funny did I ask? Oh wait I didn't.
And didn't "upgrade for LED headlights", but that's cool I like to make assumptions too, oh wait I don't.
Poin is OP asked why the Sport would be worth thousands more than the exact same OR, I responded and showed it's not.

Interesting...I always look at sale listings online rather than KBB. I think KBB is out of touch in some markets.
