Haven't had much time to finish up the pile of mods in my garage but something did change on the truck. The title is now in my hands and not in the bank's....:woot:

Also since you've had both experiences: You prefer your 255 ST Maxx or 255 KM2?

ST Maxx for sure. I haven't seen a loss in performance and the KM2s are much better on the highway.

Thanks! Its a nice little location. I need to get into a bigger house soon but the freeway access were I live and proximity to my day job are hard to beat.

4th was a blast. I finally ditched my day job and took a break from getting racks out the door to go spend some time with the family. Camped, fished, went out on the paddle board, and took the truck out exploring. My trailer I have been working on since last year had its maiden voyage.

Sorry, my mind was sidetracked. The KM2s had poor highway manners. They wandered quite a bit and became very noisy halfway through their life. The ST maxx have performed just as well offroad but with superior highway performance.

Late to comment on this thread though but I've been a fan of your build for a long time and am a past customer of yours... All around, nice job man!

This build always seems to be put on hold for other things. I have some exciting stuff planned though. Started a little mod I am happy with. Hope to finish it this weekend.

Yeah I really like them. Should solve all my rubbing issues. With the new suspension and slightly wider tires my stock fenders and flares were taking a beating. The king and total chaos suspension cycles much more than the old OME did. In Moab both my flares were dangling the entire trip.

I rattle canned the one to see how it would tun out. Color is great but the clearcoat isn't even close to OEM. The truck will be getting wrapped soon for PRINSU so I am not too worried.

It will likely only be a half wrap. Full wraps are around $3000. I got quotes to have the glass fenders painted that were 700-1000. I figured I could try the rattle can stuff ($65) and if it didn't work, for about $1500 I can get the front half of the truck wrapped and cover the fenders that way. The rattle can isn't bad but I have wanted to do a wrap for advertising purposes at events anyway. Haven't really come up with a design yet other than the quick idea below. It obviously was prelim and needs to have more information about the company integrated.

The fenders are the Mcneil 2" rise 2" flare fenders with factory flare. Made for midtravel kits and they should be perfect for my wheel tire combo.
