    Umm how did I miss this thread.

    You could do a recoilless design? You just have to redirect a significant portion of the charging load out the back of the gun. Your propellant charge would be higher but you'd preserve your roof.

    I'm thinking get a joystick as your shift knob, make the hat switch the aiming toggle, and the pickle the firing mechanism. Trigger gets wired to horn and high beams!

    Real question is will this require an ATF Form 2 and a $200 tax stamp and will you then be able to drive your truck across state lines :D
