Prinsu deal?!

Nothing yet. Also used the Bunker 4x4. Thought about sending in that sweet @whatstcp rack and see if they'd match that instead.

 

They can send me more "junk mail" but they can't respond to my price match request... grrrr...

This is how I feel

 

I know a guy that has some prototype ss zip ties. They go on real good and hold amazingly well, only problem is they will most likely triple the cost of that roof rack.

 

I sent them what I thought was a legit match. Martin Offroad Camper rack for $425. The Prinsu Habitat rack is $639.99.

I got a response from them. I posted the whatscp fab rack on their Facebook Add on their page and it got a like from CBI. Hopefully it’s a good sign.

 

Supposedly they've already begun to contact people about their requests (according to customer service)

 

I haven't checked my email yet, so hopefully.

 

This is what I received after attempting the Hooke rack:

“Thank you for participating in our Meet or Beat price promo this month!

Unfortunately the rack you submitted didn’t fulfill the outlined requirements, however we don’t want you to walk away empty handed. We would be glad to give you a one-time use coupon code for 5% off a Prinsu rack that can be used in the month of October 2020.”

we knew this would happen, and honestly with that said I’d rather buy the Martin offroad rack than have prinsu match it.

I still haven't gotten a reply. Though I also used the Bunker 4x4 (hooke) Rack. Still Considering sending in @whatstcp 's rack and see if they'll match it since its higher quality at a fraction of the price.

5% is totally trash also... which part of the requirements it didn't fulfill? I understand the hooke is suuuuper cheap but they have to be better at outlining what are these "requirements"

 

I think they are using their vague requirements to be able to skip the cheap ones and only match like 5-10% off ones. Technically the hooke one's dimensions are slightly different.
