I have so much noise from the road with the tires that it really won't make too much of a difference.

I fixed that issue long ago by putting a new sound system in.

This rack is the bees knees. If I ever forego my shell for a bed rack, I'll be knocking on your door for one of these. Fantastic!

Drilling through the damn weather strips was the most annoying thing for this install haha. It doesn't look like the bottom 2 holes in the side rails match up with the wind deflector, guess I'm stuck in the middle setting. Unless I'm missing something?

Not a canoe but several 16' pieces of lumber. Have yet to get my 14' kayak up there.

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1437793674.597039.jpg

Edit: Just realized I don't have any pictures of the 16's up there.

Probably would have done both, but I didn't have the strips installed on my cap (that was dumb). Not up for drilling anything just yet. Had enough issues getting my weather stripping holes punched just right

Same thing on my AccessRac. I think their CNC router (if that's what he uses) is tweaked.

Here is mine! I love it other than the fact that I can't move the wind deflector down to the low setting!

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.

No I really can't move the deflector down.

I love the rack. It looks great and I can't wait to get my tent up on it. The only issue I ran into was the deflector holes.

I'm still playing to figure out wind noise. Lowest down seems the worst, highest up doesn't look right. Middle it is for me currently. Going to try playing with the wrapped bungee around first bar to see if that helps... Not sure if the cutout helps, hinders or nada.

    Not enough...
All right. I'm going to order as soon as Zach sends me a paypal money request! Getting a cab rack with a 20" light and a rack for the shell. Just need to install tracks on the shell.

Contemplating if I should do the tracks myself, or have a shop install them. This dude I know has a pair of brand new 42" tracks for $70. The shop I called quoted $80 for the install if I bring my own tracks. Will probably have them do it. They'll just pull off the shell with their forklift, install the tracks and put the shell back on. Will take them an hour tops. If I start doing this shit myself I would probably kill all day and fuck something up in the process.

Happy 1st birthday to my truck :)

Here is a picture with (2) 12-foot kayaks. I am using Malone J-racks that attach to the roof rack. Here is one picture. I have another 3/4 view (front and side) picture that I will also post soon.
