Anyone mount their spare tire up top?

 

Yeah I just need a spot to throw my spare so I can use the bed again.

 

He sells some tie down hooks on his website and I bought 4 of those with my rack so when I get it here I will try to figure a way out to mount it. Right now it's strapped to some bed bars in the bed.

 

I put mine on the top of the cab rack with a 3/8 diameter cable with a master lock, and strap it down with a 1000 lb tie down strap. Doesn't move at all, even while riding the trails. Easy access as well if need to change the tire. If my RTT is not on the truck I install the spare on my bedrack the same way.





I sometimes use my Basket kit as well to install my tire to my racks, if I'm going to be on really rough terrain. I have no problems with my spare on any of my racks, which are all made by @zscott .

I figured as much. I just didn't see it listed for sale anywhere.

 

The bed racks are special order items and can take a while to get one built. Zach is a pretty busy man, pm him and see what he can do for you. His racks are of the highest quality and his customer relationship is out of this world. Hope he will be at Overland Expo 2016 and meet him again.

 

Yeah I've seen and heard nothing but good things about his products. I ordered one of his Cab Racks a couple of days ago and can't wait to get it on. Mind if I ask how much a bed rack like that costs?

 

Around $1500 or more, also you get the HD bars with it as well, a total of 10 HD bars of different sizes. 1 HD bar for each side, 4 HD bars for the top shelf and 4 HD bars for the bottom shelf I got extra bars and accessories, so paid a little extra for the goodies.

 

The side HD bars fit the top shelf as well, so their interchangeable.

 

Damn that's nuts. If I had a use for one I'd consider it but I think for that price right now I'd rather have some rear protection.

 

Yeah man, I'm working on that one myself as well.

 

But that is definitely my most favorite bed rack. So many options on it.

 

Limitless options. So many ways to setup for different events. I normally hate packing up, but this setup makes it a lot of fun. Also so many tie down points and can hold tables, chairs, road shower tank, recovery gear and my RTT. I basically have 3 shelves to load my gear. Top shelf, middle shelf and the floor of the bed. It's an awesome rack.

 

This is the same mount I have with my Yakima.

 

Looking for help.

I just installed a 30in Heretic light par on my new Prinsu cabrack and I blow the fuse every time I turn it on. It is hooked up to the positive side of the battery and a ground on the frame. Any suggestions?
