Find a new powder coater, that rack would be 200.00 around me for PC.

 

PM sent I want a DC rack.

 

The quote was for anodizing the rack. I am researching local places to powdercoat as well, though.

Definitely use the the self etching primer, a few coats at least then wet or dry sand and spray again. I used truck bed coating from Home Depot it's what I use on my sliders for touch ups, it's thick, looks close to powdercoat and doesn't run like paint as much.

Little update. I will be shipping 11TRD's rack tomorrow. GUAdam's will ship on thursday most likely. I have one other caprac in stock and still have a blank set of rails for the cab of the truck. Rdelrey737 had expressed interest in them but i haven't heard back from him since.

 

These are sick great price too.

 

Are those blank rails undrilled? for double cab? that means without cross members right? I'd be happy for the rails depending on above what is cost?

 

They are undrilled. The exact same thing that I sent to HomerTaco. PM me and we can figure out a price. I can either send just the rails or I can get you crossbars as well.

What size light bar is that and how is the wind noise

 

I believe it is a 40". He told me that he had a whistle at first but then moved it down slightly and got the noise to go away. I am sure Alex will chime in with more info if he sees this.

Ive decided on my paint scheme. Im going to do a color match blended to gloss black so it will fade from barcelona red on the closest point of contact on the cab to gloss black as it goes upward. Delivery says 15 May by tracking which is the day before my B-day .

I want to leave as much of the channel stripping in as possible. Anyone been able to punch out the holes and leave it in instead of removing it?

 

A couple people have used a hole punch kit off Amazon with success. I think back a few pages you will find some info.

 

A mount is possible. It will be difficult to make it one continuous piece with the side rail and will make the price go up because the shop will have to change out dies in the hydraulic brake. Let me PM you this afternoon to see if we can get something designed.
