I have my Cabrac and Toprac on order. Is there anyone out there that will be getting rid of their passenger side roof drip moulding? Pm me. I will take it if conditions are right.

Where did you get that light bar? I like the ambers on the outside. And are these amber lenses? I'm presuming so but not sure. Thanks! I've been looking everywhere for this photo

Good point, I'm thinking I may use some door trim so the stainless doesn't scratch. If I don't like it I can always take it off or cut it up

Trying to be prepared for the day the rack is delivered. Has anyone thought or tried to drill the weather stripping while it's still on the cab?
I'm thinking about using tape to mark the factory nut locations and then laying the stripping back down to drill at least the pilot holes.

Hey buddy, this is a no go. There's a metal "spine" buried in the rubber of the drip molding(weather stripping) that you just won't be able to drill through, even pilot holes, until you remove it. I used a right angle grinder to get it out, as per the instructions. This is a good thing in your case because it prevents you from making the horrible decision to try and drill into this thing while it's still in place on your roof.

Just a few expensive & DIY things...
I used a pair of sheers to cut the rib out which helped a ton.

I'd just wait until you have the rack, so you can measure 12 hundred times like I didn't do..... :anonymous:

The 3/4" leather punch works a million times better than drilling. I have done both now. The punch and a BFH go right through the metal strip

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping
If anyone is interested I'm selling my 07 Tacoma with the Pinsu designs access cab rack and long bed leer cap rack. If no one offers me a reasonable price with the aftermarket parts include I'll be parting it out. In other words selling the access cab rack and bed cap rack as a package.
