    This is all true, however, I believe that when the tracks are installed from the factory they actually seal around the holes to protect the cardboard from water seepage. If I were personally going to install my own tracks I would stay away from it because if you tighten the bolts on the honeycomb it will compress. I got my tracks installed from the Leer factory and they are right on the edge of the honey comb area, oh well.

    I used a Harbor Freight one for years. Worked well for the price.

    You know what- I have a bed extender from harbor freight- is that what you're refering to? I never thought to just raise it up. I'm a fool.

    I gave the racks a little light duty this past weekend. Way nicer that trying to haul 4'x8' sheets in the bed.

    Bolting the rack to the cab. What's the "order"?
    Bolt -> Lock Washer -> Washer -> Rack -> Spacer -> Cab ?

    I just tackled installing my 6ft toprac earlier today. It was a chore doing it in my own and I had to dig up photos on Google for help. Assemble the rack on the ground, but do not tighten the bolts all the way. Only hand tighten. Load the rack onto your canopy and get it aligned how you want it to. Then tighten the feet to the track, then feet to the crossbars, then finally the crossbars to the side rails.

    The images on this page helped:https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/chandlerdooms-pelfreybilt-35s-expo-picture-heavy.341357/page-31

    How long is the 6' bed rack vs the 5' bed rack? Length of the actual side panels

    Adjusting the bar? You mean just turning it or trying the different prefab holes? None worked, my brackets put it exactly where I want it.

    Can these hollow hole punches be used instead of the ones in post #3845 from Amazon? .... update..... i noticed there is no 3/4 punch in the package. Could still work.
