Throwing a feeler out there. For anyone that may want to trade their wind deflector without a cutout for mine with a 40" cutout. I've decided not to go with LED lighting. Even trade. Located in Southern California and my deflector is brand new. Still in box. Thanks. Killer roof racks btw!

Dang it... I just bought a deflector with 40" cutout, and it's already on its way. I have the old style, bare aluminum deflector if you're interested.

Thanks for decoding my mumbled message. I shouldn't be talking on the phone while typing. haha. I appreciate the offer but I'd like to try for a straight trade for now.

Roof Top Tent. AirFlow Snork, smittybilt winch, 20" light bar.
It's really solid up there, it feels a lot more secure than my Yakima rack. I have a decent amount of lift and no sway bar, but I can still take a corner over the speed limit. Although I have never had it on the truck bed or my canopy I can say I haven't had any real limitations.

Pros are probably that the the cab can take more weight than a canopy, so less stress. Weight feels centered. The tent is higher off the ground than a typical bed rack. The tent is definitely not going anywhere.

Cons are increased drag, can't fit in standard garages, RTT cover drapes over the doors on one side, more top heavy (although it's hard to tell).

Ultimately I'll be putting a prinsu rack on my canopy and also buying some 10" rise bed bars so that I can have 3 different mounting options for the different types of trips. Plus I like choices.

    Cheers!

So the rear most bar will not clear my shark fin antenna at the last mounting position. I have to slide it forward and install in the longer slot. Anyone else has this issue? All the pictures I've seen show the last bar installed in the last slot without issue.

I have the solid wind deflector that is brand new but I'm interested in the 40" cut out you have.
    I'm in michigan for shipping.

Just a question for all you Prinsu guys. I have tracks on my cap for a Yakima set up. Will the Prinsu fit to the tracks, and how easy on/off. I have a Mega Warrior, I like the easy on/off. I had the rack for so long that I've had to repaint it twice, works great but that Prinsu looks sweet.

Cab/Top racks arrived last Tuesday. My rental tenant moved out unexpectedly and left me a &%^$1nG mess to clean up. So now I have more projects than time, but think I'm going to go get started on the toprack right now so that I can haul some drywall and plywood. Might have to wait a few days on the cabrack. Also got my light bar and Blue Sea fuseblock and circuit breaker but that is going to have to wait a while.

Just got my 2016 cabrac in the mail this week! Excited to put it on and get my light bar put in. I'm a big fan of this 8020 aluminum extrusion stuff (I'm assuming is 8020 Aluminum because everyone who makes these things uses it). I use it on several diy projects and it's pretty versatile and I can usually find brackets and hardware for it. Any suggestions on the type of silicone sealer to use for the bolt holes? I was going to run to home depot but I'm not sure what is the best brand/type.
