No wind noise, but only after moving the flare all the way down. I've found that as you move the flare up further from the roof line, you'll get more and more wind noise since you'll get wind flowing under the flare as well, causing turbulence, as opposed to flowing over the rack.

Finally got my top rac on the 8th. Was installed as soon as I got off work.
Superb design @zscott totally worth the wait! I will definitely be ordering the access rack as soon as I get paid.

Rotated my eyelets 90* so the kayaks have a bit more room. Pretty sure it was @TacoSTIG that posted it up. Thanks pretty ingenious ha

I am taking delivery of both my Prinsu bedrac and CVT RTT this week. Can anyone tell me what hardware I will need to connect the two together? I am hoping to install both immediately upon receiving them and heading out on a trip. Just not sure exactly what I need for hardware.

The mounting hardware will be included with your CVT tent.

Perfect. So the factory CVT hardware will fit in the Prinsu extrusion channel? If so, I'm set.

It won't mount into the extrusion channel...... 2 bolts will straddle a cross bar with a strap bracket underneath your cross bar and 2 nylock nuts to fasten it together (x4).

Got it! I just looked at the CVT mounting instructions and that makes perfect sense. Looks as if the install will be quick and easy.

Yeah mounting is very straightforward, just takes some time as it's very tight between the Prinsu rack and the roof of your truck or canopy. CVT supplies a ratcheting 13mm wrench with the tent which is nice but you still have to run a nylock nut up a couple of inches of thread. I'm thinking of swapping the nylocks out for lock washers and regular nuts to make install/removal less frustrating.

Minew is being mounted on a bedrac so I should have lots of room underneath to install the nuts. I can't wait for Friday to get here.

I actually have been trying to track down some of the old screws. I no longer have any in stock and am trying to find some of the exact same ones I used to have.

i've got 24 that are bare. 4 per 6 rails. all the front ones are black already. i may have a few extra bare ones at home, but i'll have to check those later. a few are slightly oxidized and one has was looks like surface rust on the inside of the torx slot.
