anyone with the light bar up top getting hood glare? Or is the light bar far enough back that it is not an issue.

    Thanks

With the prinsu/heretic setup or something that mimics its location you will get minimal glare. If the light is forward of the deflector edge you will get more glare.

I have zero windshield or hood glare with my light bar. it is recessed back and down into the cutout.. works perfectly and couldnt be happier.

Only glare I get is from the damn sun. So I put some hood vinyl on for that reason..sure it'll come in handy IF I ever get glare from the bar, but I noticed none. Biggest glare problem when it's pitch back out and the bar is on is the damn glare from the snorkel ram air head..

    Oooooh got ya.

Yeah, 1" length is plenty too.

    All 1/4" carriage bolts
    (4) 1" x 1/4" for the Plano
    (4) 4" x 1/4" for traction boards
    Then I used (2) 7" x 1/4", with 2" washers for my water/fuel packs

Built my maxtrax and hi-lift mounts this afternoon. Quick hit of primer and bedliner to prep for the arrival of my rack. These will be held to the side of the crossbars with ¼" stainless carriage bolts.

Now just need to get the rack actually shipped out to me!
