I didn't hear anything from Zach until I finally emailed him after 3 weeks. I figured he would have contacted me earlier as I had requested a custom colour for some parts.

He's been super quick in responding to me once I contacted him. Just waiting for the custom colour pieces and it should ship.

So guessing about week 3 is when I should start sending emails for an update on my order. Two more to go.

I just received my two racks last Thursday. Ordered Feb 3rd. Definitely worth the wait though.

I have no problem waiting 8 weeks for an item just tell me it's going to be 8 weeks. If it gets to 8 weeks it'll cost me an extra $100 in storage fees because I have a bunch of other items I ordered waiting for pickup at a shipping depot. I kept in regular contact and was told that it would be 4 weeks and that there were no delays to be expected. I timed all my other orders to arrive at the same time as the rack since it had the longest lead time. My debate right now is do I wait for the rack to ship before I go pick up my other stuff. Either way it will cost me an extra $100 in storage fees or in gas to make the trip twice. I could also change my shipping option and have the rack shipped directly to me but that will cost an extra $105.

Oh the joys of being Canadian and trying to shop on the internet.

Same here, I'll be pretty pissed if it doesn't ship soon. 4 week lead time prior to order, 4 weeks still accurate during order, every update is "expect to have everything tomorrow" ... pretty sure I'm being fed a bunch of crap. Like you said, I don't mind a wait, but expectations are everything. Still really excited about the rack ... though I expected and planned on being able to use it by now.

Seems all too easy to provide accurate order estimates and order status. I'm nervous to place an order now :-/

I've read a good amount of posts that say 4 weeks turns to 8-12+ real quick. The racks are nice, but looks lIke I'll be buying Thule for fishing this year. Not willing to gamble 4 weeks turning into " after summer".

Also, anyone have any tips on contacting them? I emailed with questions and never heard back. It's a shame. They look real nice.

According to the most recent GB thread it closed on Nov. 1 so I would say we are no where close to ordering near a GB. Also if Zach knows that he can't deliver those racks on-time why is he telling us that orders will take 4 weeks before we order when it's obvious that the lead time is more like 8-10. It's all about setting expectations for the customer.

I emailed the contact listed on the site. I knew it was one person, just didn't know his name off the top of my head. Thanks for the tip though. I'll try on here.

I've had great communication with Zach as he usually responds within minutes of an email.
