Now that is just crazy talk. I can understand delays, but that is a wee bit more then just a delay.

Well, I'm creeping up to 16 weeks. I really don't know what to say, I'm fairly dissapointed. I put my order in for an access rack, 6 ft top rack and 30 inch light bar (just shy of 2700$ cdn, plus Yakima tracks, And later to find 180 dollar shipping fee to cross the border I didn't know about, my bad.)December 29 2016, after about 50 phone calls that never once made it through, 20 voicemails never replied to and countless emails to the website, I got ahold of Zach here, where he has been slow to reply but helpful when he does, as a busy guy my self with multiple things on the go, I understand, Not to that extent but it's all good. I seen on the website that it was a 4 week lead time, being cautious I gave my self 5 months lead time(I leave for inuvik, Yukon, Prudhoe bay June 1st)

I guess I'm lucky in one regard, I received my racks April 2nd(almost 13 weeks) all in good order as far as I can tell. But no light bar yet. So as 16 weeks approaches in really trying to get this together and be ready in 1 month. What brings all this up is that I have 3 unreplied messages to Zach, trying to figure out the light situation, Will I get a tracking number this time, can we ship it express so it gets here soon, hell I'll even pay the extra! But today I seen he posted in another thread that he's been sitting on access racks for a while now and he'd be "inclined" to give the buyer a discount. Where the heck is my discount!

All that aside, I'm trying to stay optimistic that this will all end up coming together and I'll be a happy customer. Time will tell....

Shitty. I got my stuff shipped at 8 weeks. I hope it works out for you. Was the $180 a brokerage charge from the shipping company?

I'm thinking about tripping up the Dempster Hwy. later this year. I wish I'd had time to do it this spring and still take the ice road to Tuktoyaktuk before the new highway opens in November.

Nope it was a border tax, being that the light and rack shipped separately I'm guessing I get to pay that twice!

I wanna hit it again when the all weather road opens, but it won't be this year.

Yes you'll have to pay GST/HST when it crosses into Canada. You may have to pay duty too depending on where the items were made. If you are getting exorbitant brokerage fees from the shipper ie UPS. You can self declare the items yourself if you live near one of these CBSA locations.

I see, ya most of the locations are either at land crossings or major airports. For my order I had it shipped to Montana and I'll drive down to pick it up next weekend.

I've dug pretty deep on this thread looking for this answer... but couldn't find it.

Does anyone know the bolt size/length for rack's mounting feet to the toprac rails? I'm needing to get additional bolts and washers. (The 1" screws I have bottom out on the rail without a thicker washer)
