    Plethora of "useless" shit
Not harsh at all and not a misunderstanding when you are being completely ignored via email. You need to go back and read my previous post a few pages back and feel free to check my post history(I'm not one to bitch and complain). I received an incomplete rack, evidently on purpose without being notified. I just found out upon package arrival. And then there is the phone call in which the tone I received basically sounded like I would not be receiving a tracking number, which I didn't.
In the end I received the missing parts 13 weeks after I placed my order and I'm not the only one on here that has had or is having issues.

Hopefully things will settle for them after a bit but I doubt the customer service component will change.

Edit: none of my posts in here have been to bash CBI nor Zach. They are simply to state facts of what occurred in my experience and share that experience so people are informed of what some have gone through.

My rack was supposed to ship Saturday 9/2. I emailed them to follow up and see if my order shipped. Their response was: "We actually ran out of the right length cross bars for your racks so we where not able to fulfill many orders that are ahead of you so it will likely be a few weeks before we will probably have yours ready to ship. We are scheduled to get more in stock this week and we still have some orders from July that we need to fulfill."

I wouldn't say that that's "unreasonable" but if you're behind schedule, I would think you'd inform your customers when you miss the previously stated ship date. I've been following the prinsu drama here for a year or more so I expected a delay (and more to come).

Not complaining, just figured this info might help someone who's also waiting for their order to ship or considering ordering.

    Good luck.

That is the primary (so I'm told) reason that I don't have my rack after the estimated ship date. They flat out ran out of crossbars. Zero in stock, so they are not currently fulfilling any orders until they come in.

Contact sales@tnutz.com They have the exact same 1"x2" t-slot crossbars. You have to email them or call them, because it is a custom length order (not one of their standard lengths).

This is what you tell them:
Part No. EX-1020-BLACK 1" x 2" T-Slotted Aluminum Extrusion - Black Anodize (if that is what you want) in the custom length of 47"

I'd also like both ends drilled and tapped to 1/4-20 threads.

I ordered 4 extras from them, and they are good to go. Hope that helped.

Just curious, what did each bar with taps cost from tnutz? How much was shipping? Also why did you tap to 10-24 when Prinsu taps theirs at 1/4-20? A 10-24 is a much thinner bolt (0.19") vs the 1/4-20 (0.25) and won't be as strong.

Tslots.com charged me $29.21 shipped per bar in black with taps on both sides and the custom cut to 47"

Ok, I ordered 3 extra cross bars from them. Here's what the invoice says:

each cross bar is $20.36 as custom ordered
shipping for the three was $25.00 to San Antonio, TX

Yeah, shipping seems like alot, but they are long and 3 weigh 12 lbs.
I don't know how that compares to CBI

You are correct. I made a mistake when I asked for 10-24 threads (I cut and paste my erroneous order, sorry). They corrected me, thank god, with the proper 1/4-20 threads. Thanks for catching that! I'll edit previous post.

I guess I won't be expecting mine at the end of the month on time...but if I get it with all the parts and on time, I'll be happy.

So my OCD has me bothered by this blemish under the powder coating on my wind deflector. Emailed the customer service department and they responded with a not so favorable response. What would you do if you received this? Accept it as is or call them out on it?

Really doesn't look bad but I get it, I can be pretty OCD about that stuff too.

Reading through this whole thread about how long it's taking to fulfill orders and or the parts missing or defective parts is scaring me away.
