My rack was covered in snow so I may have to go and check what all is rusted. This morning when I was getting some snow off, I noticed the screws for the cross bars were rusted. I guess technically Prinsu doesn't make those.

More specifically its the screws for the cross bars. The rack itself is fine.

Man, how annoying for me... I will have to take a closer look at them and see what is going on.

    Premium air in tires.
I plan to get a prinsu and I also have the Yakima skybox. You didn’t have any problems with clearance?

    Really enjoy your videos!

I could've missed it, but it looked like you didn't install the little weather strip to help reduce wind noise. Is wind noise an issue for you at all after having it for a few days now?

I did this same method as well, and it has been flawless so far through driving rain, snow, etc

It was powder coated. I am not having any issues with the side rails. If you mean all the white on it, that just wipes off clean. It is salt from my commute this morning. roads are covered in it after it snows.

X2 on this, gotta be different materials plus an electrolyte. Swap out for the same material hardware and it should be good

I didnt receive the weather stripping im going to pick some up soon though because there is a slight howling noise around 60 mph. my truck's fairly noisy as it is with the tires and fiberglass flares. I can see someone with a stock truck being disappointed by the noise caused by a roof rack. However its quieter then my wifes factory subaru rack.

No sir, I have not mounted anything to the rack yet. It is just 2 weeks old. How is Galvanic Corrosion caused? I might just try to buy new hard wear. I do not see rust anywhere else on the rack.

Yeah I can see a small gap between your truck and the rack, I bet the strip would plug it right up. I always thought that whenever reading people talk about how bad wind noise can be with these racks. I cant imagine anything making my truck any more noisy than it already is.
