sub'd does the weather stripping get completely cut out. it looks like in the picture there is nothing to replace the black rubber finish?

 

Nope you just knock holes where the stand offs and bolts connect to the roof. I need to make my holes a bit larger so the strip will lay back fully down on the driver side.

 

Something like this is exactly what I was asking for before for a 50" radius. I want to be able to ADD it onto the side plates. Did you just have a shop cut out and bend you those mounts? I want to get it as close to the windshield as I can because the 50" radius bars are so close to the same curve as the windshield and it looks GREAT when it is tucked down like that.

P.S.

Can you get a 1/4 view shot of your rack and light bar mount, with the cab and everything in it?

 

His is one solid plate with the special bends being part of the original rail, just extended out to fit the 50" light bar. It is possible to do the same thing for a 50" radius bar I would just need dimensions of the light bar to get the fit right.

A piece that bolts to the original side rails could work but you start to get to many points of connection which can just increase the chance of failure, rattling, and other problems.

Were you down at Expo this year?

 

this is what I was wanting to know. If your could throw it over the cab and at least 2 adults sleep in it. Seems like a great alternative to those that don't want the bulky bed rack or Cap but still want a RTT. At some point in the future this might be on my truck.

Quick question, i see the price for the double cab cabrac is $435.. but its $17 to add a crossbar.. What exactly is including with the cabrac for $435? Just the side rails, or are there crossbars on it?

 

It comes with 6 rails I think. The $17 ea is if you want extra crossbars

 

Yea 6 or 7 bars are included, $17 is per extra cross bar.

I just found out bout a heavy duty cross bar option at $35 each. Not sure how that affects price with included bar. If Zach can elaborate that is the route I'm looking to go.

 

6 bars is standard and included in the 435. Sorry for the lack of info guys. reworking the OP to be a little more informative but time is limited so it is little by little.
