Honestly, I am not sure. I would have to ask Jason Specht with MSO to see. I will get back with you. He browses on here every once in awhile so he may chime in too.

He said they are actually just Army Medical Chests. All Aluminum. The Nanuk label is just a sticker they put on there. They use it to carry compost/recycling.

Yeah, Zach covered it. We use Nanuk cases for our camera equipment but thought we'd slap the sticker on the roof boxes to get the conversation rolling. The Nanuk cases were purchased from Blue Ridge Overland Gear and we keep 'em strapped down inside the cap for easier access. The army chests are bomber! You can find 'em at most military supply stores. We purchased those boxes for $40 a piece and they'll outlast the truck that's carrying them even tho it's a Taco. Cheers!

What a great idea using fist grips to secure the trax on the rack. I'm goin to make everything on the rack lockable, but +1 MSO

I haven't yet. It is on my list but keeps getting pushed down. I have been trying to find a decent place locally that will do them rather than sending it out. So far nobody has really impressed me with the quality or the pricing.

Hey Zach, just got my rack in the mail yesterday. Thanks for all of your hard work to make a custom rack for my tundra. What size drill bit do I use to make my holes in the roof

When we did access cab rack we used a 3/8" first and then went up to a 1/2" bit I believe. You want the rivet nuts to be as tight as possible when you put them in so start small with the holes and work your way up test fitting the rivet nuts after each time.

You also will want to assemble the rack itself and test fit it to see how far forward or back you want it to sit before you drill the holes. Since you are mounting it you get a little more say in the location of it.

Hah I just sold a 50" straight bar, didn't like it.. too big. I just picked up instead a 42" curved. I didnt like the light bar wider than the gutter channels (wider than the roof rack). I'm going to order custom side rails to position the bar exactly where I want it, just need to figure it out on my end. I also still plan on using the fairing above the light bar so I need to take that in consideration.

Not install pics but a close up. Just install the two cross bars like you did up top and slide in the keys for the bolts. Line everything up with the holes; this takes a little time, then start inserting the bolts. That's about it!

Not sure if this helps, it's all pretty self explanatory. This is a shot of the backside of the fairing from the side of the rack.
