So I finally snagged one of the 42" Plano all weather cases. Got it stuffed with mostly recovery gear: tow strap, gloves, jumper cables, folding shovel, flashlight, tire patch kit, etc.

Am I being too paranoid worrying that someones going to try to snatch this thing off of my roof rack? Do you guys put an extra lock on yours? I don't daily my truck, but I mean a Walmart parking lot is a Walmart parking lot. I'm kinda thinking about a "No Firearms Inside" sticker, but I'd need to hit up my buddy with a label maker.

I've got pad locks on my cases. Doesn't mean someone can't get in, but it's a deterrent. If they want something bad enough they can steal the whole truck...

A no firearms sticker will attract more attention than no sticker. I had mine on my roof in both DFW and San Diego and never had an issue. I just used the built in lock. The cases are flimsy enough that a concerted effort will get in regardless of any additional locks you add.

Going on my 5th Canadian winter with the cabrac, I use my snow brush to clear the top same as the hood/canopy roof, have never had any problems getting it cleared. It anything the snow slides off under the side rails better than the factory setup. Enjoy your rack and worry about something else.

True, true. Well said. Even if someone does break in to the thing they’ll be making off with less than $100 worth of gear. Think I may snag a low profile lock and call it a day. Thanks for the advice.

Anyone here know if the 1020 bars will work with the original standard bars (1575 I think)? I have a flat platform on my rack, so any new bars I get need to be the same installed height.

Looking at the 80 20 diagrams, it looks like they might be slightly different height. But I think Zach offered both standard and HD bars at the time, so I would hope they would both be the same height? Anyone with both bars can confirm? Thanks fellas.

Ouch, yeah, $33 shipping. Didn't realize it was that high.

I’ve gone through 30 pages trying to look for a pic. Does anyone have photos of prinsu TopRac On their camper with OEM roof racks?
I’m wondering if I can get away with just getting the toprac and leaving my OEM roof racks as is.
    Mahalo in advance.

Any info on if the habitat rack will fit on a single cab 2nd gen? Wanting to pull the trigger but I haven’t found any information if it’ll fit. And if there is any overhang of the bed, approx how much will there be?

Send them an email for the dimensions. You’ll have to drill into the roof for the mounting holes

So for anyone with a 1st generation prinsu that had the old style plastic deflector and single crossbar, the new design is almost a direct fit! I used the old shiny bolts to mount to the cross bar and with the supplied hardware I filled in the bottom holes on the deflector. Only modification was the upper holes I bored out just a hair so the old bolts would fit
