    All the hardware I bought at HD was in the yellow sections which is supposedly their SS versions of them.

    @tundraconvert you're buying the 1/4" 20 hardware correct?

    Are you using the Prinsu extrusions or ones sourced from somewhere else? Because I found that the bolts I use fit into Prinsu bars but not the extra bars I ordered from another vendor.

    Yes, 1/4 20. Bought washers, lock washers, and some wing nuts.
    I will have to go by ACE, maybe even bring a bar in to measure.

    That's where I want to try next. I am not a fan of the 1" long bolts. I am going to get some 1/2" and swap them all out.

    What I need to do is get my light bar closer to the fairing. The brackets I used are just L shaped corner braces from Lowes. They work but I want the light bar closer, to almost touching, and higher. Prinsu sells some inexpensive brackets but I am not sure where the light would be with them. I think I would just have to flip them how I have them shown in the second image.

    Any of you guys used these or something like them on a light bar?

    This is all I can find on their site. I have these and they put the light bar in the same position as the L bracket I am using.

    Ahhhh, I see now. I was just looking at the accessories.

    Hmmmmm. The do make this light bar sit correctly

    [IMG]

    It looks like a single row. Mine is a double. I just looked at the diagram they have on that page that shows the dimensions and the brackets are going to be too short for a double row. Must be why they switch to the generic bracket on the double row lights.

    Thank you anyway, you had me all excited.

    I can get the Prinsu brackets that are SS for $20 and just paint them black. :thumbsup:

    They are designed to be used with the Heretic light bars but I called and they are pretty universal. I should be fine.
