    I wouldn't try to punch holes while the weather strips are on the truck if that is what you are meaning. The stand-offs need to be seated on the roof of the truck though that means that you either cut the weather strips into sections, punch holes through them, or leave them off.

    I don't have any plans for sales right now. A group buy is always a possibility if people are interested but nobody has really wanted to try and rally a group together. If someone does I can put pricing and timeline together for such a group.

    6 bars +1 to mount the fairing and lights. I think the max is 12 but I'll let someone who knows answer for sure

    I got 6+1 with mine too but I got the upgraded crossbars. I think you could fit a lot more than 12. I don't know why you would need too though.

    You get six bars when you order the HD bars. There are holes in the side rail for the HD bars and they're evenly spaced. There are slots in between the set locations that can also accommodate bars. I'd venture to guess you could fit 16HD bars across the top.

    I just looked at my rack and I'm sure I could fit 21 HD bars across the top. 3 in each of the slots plus the regular locations.

    This if you arrange it this way the rack will be maxed out to its potential with the 1x2" crossbars and have 1/2" between crossbars with 21 total.

    Each extra crossbar adds HP. :burnrubber:

    In all honesty the HD crossbars are pretty rigid. With the standard 6 HD bars the only thing you will gain by adding more is the ability to carry smaller items without them falling through the cracks, at which point a solution like Door Ding used becomes lighter weight for the same function.

    OZ, I am assuming you are wanting more load capacity for construction materials?
