    Hey Guys!

Since Prinsu was backed up I got antsy and ordered Front Runner load bars for my Ikamper Skycamp on top of an RSI Smartcap on a 3rd gen Tacoma quad cab. Then basically Prinsu and Front Runner shipped at the same time. I could have had Prinsu ship their racks back before being delivered but I figured I would get everything home and make some decisions. Pretty sure I could offload the Prinsu rack if needed as they are super backed up.

Initially I wanted to copy this guy who put the Skycamper on a Prinsu setup: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ikamper-x-cover-looking-for-any-insights.662479/#post-25805757

I really liked the low profile matching racks and Prinsu is supposed to be great. But my Smartcap is taller than the cab so they wouldn't line up the way I hoped. And the Prinsu canopy rack is $600+. I decided to just put load bars instead of a full rack and settled on Front Runner for this. Their load bars and feet are about $300. No idea which rack is taller or easier to work with.

My thought is to keep it simple and since I'm really looking to only have the RTT on my canopy I should use the Front Runner on the canopy, and install the Prinsu cab rack. Then sell the Prinsu top rack. What do you guys think?

I had to go with the Frontrunner as the side rails of the Prinsu hit my side doors when they are open, and I am sure eventually would break the glass. Here's the setup:
