Prinsu Rack Fishing Pole Vault

Does anyone have an idea for how I could attach a fishing pole vault like the one below to my Prinsu Rack? is this as easy as just threading a nylock nut on the bottom of the threads and sliding it in? Is anyone on here doing anything like this because I want to know it can be accomplished before buying this kit.

Not sure if you set on this kit, in Hawaii these ski holders are very popular to use as rod holders. Just another option. I use the FATCAT 4.
