    On the accessrack what are people using to water proof the bolts that hold the roof rack on to the roof of the truck? My installer is concerned about water following the bolts down into the roof.

    Not the receiving nuts but the actual bolts that screw into the nuts he's afraid water will travel the length of the bolt and leak in the roof.

    Use marine grade silicone put into the hole and then screw in bolt.

    Yes sir! Put a hersheys kiss size glob right on top of the plusnut, or threaded insert. stick the spacer on that and make sure the silicone covers the entire base where it meets the surface of the roof/plusnut, then stick the rack on and thread the bolts down into the plusnut, pushing the sealant down into the threads.
