That's the same kit I used and it turned out great. Cut the metal strip on the underside of the moulding a little bigger than the hole. I used painters tape on the side of the drip channels and then reinstalled the moulding to mark for cutting. Recheck the placement of the remaining holes after each punch to ensure a precise fit.

I have a gasket punch set (you can find on Amazon or Harbor Freight), and fortunately have a small arbor press in my shop that makes it super easy

Cut the metal strip with snips, then 3/4" spade bit at slow speed. Easy cheesey.

Has anyone had the OEM roof rack and then bought the prinsu? Can you just mount the prinsu and not have any leaks? The dealer wants 270 bucks for the drip moldings, and I’m tempted to pay it. I don’t want any leaks and I don’t want it to look like crap. Any suggestions?

It wont just be sure that you use a good amount of sealant silicone around and inside of the spacers.

That’s odd, 2nd and 3rd OEM ROOF RACKS are interchangeable.

I just got one of these racks and peeled my factory Trim off to punch the holes.

It was the night after a decent rainstorm and there was considerable water all along the drip track.

Trim had never been touched before -- the factory 3M adhesive was original and the bolts were still stickered over, and the factory paint had been sprayed right over the sticker.

My belief is you get water in the track no matter what

I imagine the recommended silicone is to keep it from getting into the bolt holes -- tons of pics of rusted or seized bolts on these forums and/or people recommending copper anti seize when you install (or swapping to stainless bolts).

I'm in very snowy part of the northeast so I'll report back someday with my experience.
