My KC C30 is abour $300 and has 16k lumens. It's pretty badass. Taylor on KC has a garage sale going on with 7.5k lumen slimlites.20191029_124450_HDR.jpg

Did you use the Cali raised/Prinsu specific mounts, or the mounts that came with the Prinsu?

I had to reloom the wires and just used a plastic popper tool to press them in carefully.. using a towel so it wouldn’t dig into the wire

Anyone else have the caliraised premium roof rack with the 360 lighting package? I have some questions about how did you run the wiring and why are the side light mounts wrong hole size from there pods?Screenshot_20200909-195815.jpg

Has anyone ever tried or successfully put KC lights on a Prinsu bar? I love both but can't find anyone that has done it. I'm worried about spending money on both and then drilling holes in the rack and attaching the lights only to find out they won't work or they make some sort of atrocious sound. There is a KC light rack but that and the lights are $3300 so I'm trying to replicate that setup for far less.

I used a plastic tool from a cheap harbor freight door panel kit. Allowed me to push wire loom as shown above.

I've been curious about this rack for some time as well, and am curious to hear of any experience anyone has with it. Looks pretty cool how the light bar sits behind an articulating wind screen; nifty idea.

The Cali light is bright, the wire does not require allot of work to route to the battery or fusebox under hood.

I went with the Cali brackets.

Yeah I've heard really good things about their light products and brackets, but NOTHING about this actual rack from them, in particular. It seems that nowadays, if you have a third gen, it's Prinsu or nothing lol

I'm sure you COULD, but I'd be afraid that the KC round lights would sit up way too high above the wind deflector, unless you removed the deflector completely. I don't know to be honest lol

Like others, I ran it down the windshield molding on the driver side. For quite a while I just used electrical tape and had it contact the glass and the windshield molding with the wire harness under it. This worked fine until we started getting rain then it started peeling. Then I put some dabs of clear RTV on the inside of the channel the harness sits in against the windshield molding, put the harness in place, and taped it again. Took the tape off a day later and now the harness won't move!

Agreed! This rack is newer to the market and we are trying to educate people as much as possible to show all the great features that our competitors do not have!

Sits perfectly if you have the proper mounts I have https://caliraisedled.com/collectio...products/42-amber-white-dual-function-led-bar

I also got the 360 lighting package and I highly recommend it. This rack is awesome! Absolutely no wind noise as well

I like it! Any details on the install? Really like the subtlety of the location so it doesn't advertise the $400 addition and in a location that would be hard for someone to remove.

Yeah, not going to lie....I am super intrigued by this thing. It looks awesome, and if that wind deflector does its job, then that alone may make it worthwhile to me.

security was the primary motivating factor for the hidden bumper light bar. even with security bolts on exterior lights, they looked susceptible to theft.

once you get the brackets from either Cali Raised or Rago Fabrications, the install is pretty easy. You also don't lose any light from the recessed position. simple bolt on and plenty of room to work by the radiator. the wiring was idiot proof easy. good luck!
