I just got my rack installed a few days ago and noticed that the rack was pulling up on the rails. (Started a leak) Got an idea from someone to add more washes to help keep the rack level and from pulling up on the rails, it’s a little better and the pulling is less. Anyone else have this issue? Seems crazy to have to use so many washers. No washers in middle washers on both front and back of topper as shown in picture. 78E54614-99D8-4832-8A1D-B21363B4E44F.jpg

It did the same for my toprac on my snug top as well. I added a few washers and haven’t had issues since. It doesn’t look great but it worked for me.

Yeah I had no leaks after this last storm, just couldn’t stand the pulling on the rails.

I didn't have to use washers on mine. I loose attached everything and tightened the feet to the track first. Then the feet to the cross bars and finally the cross bars to the side rails. No issues with my leer 100xr with thile rails. It also has to do with how close the canopy tracks are mounted to the edges. Mine are in a pretty good location, not too close to the edge, but not too far in the middle.

I’m certain I did the same... When I laid the rack on the rails before even sliding them in,just to see how it looked, the front and back Were being held up by the middle feet.
I think and have heard that not all topper tops are flat? Mine is a century top, not sure on the model.

Super old thread I know. But I have the same issue (Snugtop Rebel).

I would suggest adding the washers between the bar and the feet, rather than the feet and the rail. I haven't tried this, but it'll accomplish the same thing and the washers will be hidden.

If you put 1 or 2 sets of washers on the outside bolts it should relieve the issue.
