Thanks everyone for helping me decide and figure out all variables. Im pretty sure I’m running the rack without the bar over the moonroof, and I think the one without the cutout will Camouflage the blank space better. Gonna pull the trigger on a Victory today!

I had same issue. Ordered July 30th and received September 4th! Plus all the burrs. Sliced my thumb and shredded my arms installing it.

I'm fairly certain Prinsu uses black anodized 80/20 rails that come anodized from 80/20 and then powder coats the front, rear and side panels. As an option you can leave the panels unfinished or have them "clear" anodized along with the "clear" anodized 80/20 rails.

I tried the rack and I am not going to keep it on. There is some wind noise at freeway speeds and there is a slight drop in MPG. I really like the way the rack looks and I have no qualms about the quality of the rack. However, since my truck is my daily driver, the noise and MPG outweigh the positives of leaving it on.

Just to clarify, I have no complaints about the quality of the rack. I am still installing the blitz bumper when it arrives next week.

If you’re thinking about selling it, I’ll buy it from you. Lead time at Victory means I might not have one in time for a road trip next month.

Thank you to those who suggested moving the crossbars all the way back! Reduced wind noise dramatically!

Thats all it took to convince you to get rid of it? lol Not trying to give you shit but sounds like you bought for looks more than functionality.

I like the rack. I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a rack. Victory 4x4 makes a great product and Daryl is a standup guy.

I certainly did buy it because I like the way it looks. People buy things all the time they don’t end up using or even really needing. I guess somebody will just end up buying a fully assembled roof rack that has been used for a week and I will know from first hand experience it’s not something I want on my truck.

My rack is completely silent unless there is a cross wind. Do you have the fairing all the way down against the roof?

So here’s and update on my rack situation as promised:

Got the farrings and started installing them. Everything was going great until I got to the foot brackets.

The ones for the driver front lined up great. THEN I went for the passenger front and wouldn’t you know it. An issue!

Not sure how it happened but the holes don’t line up.

Decided to line them up to see if there was an offset and wouldn’t you know it. The oblong Holes don’t line up

    The circular holes do.

    See photos

Maybe it’s just me and bad luck just follows me around. So, thought about drilling into the holes but wasn’t sure about structural integrity.

Shot an email off to Mitchell yet again. Yikes they must be loving me at this point

This whole this is killing me.

You are past the 10 business day estimate they gave, have they proactively contacted you? Or even reactively?

Outside of the initial email confirmation and being able to check the order status online as "pending", nothing else. I think I remember 10-15 business days, so hoping to hear something next week.

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, rear bumper, and skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
What do you mean 10 business day estimate?

I ordered my rack over the phone on 03Sept and received an invoice the same day, invoice has a 01OCT need date which I'm assuming is the ship date.

Given all the rework this thread produced, I'd give them a couple days slack myself.

Agreed, but it was Victory who caused the rework, not this thread

I ordered 8/30 and my status is still pending. When I ordered it was 10-15 business day lead time plus 5 days for powder coating. I'm hoping to see some status change soon.

Looks like you are at like 13 business days right now. We are trending at 15-20 +_ a few outliers. I would expect to get a tracking number soon.

Wow, it's like you won the lottery but instead of cash you got our laser somehow cutting the hole in the wrong place. I'll say that's pretty rare, but that doesn't really help you at the moment. I'm sure that customer service will get the correct part out to you ASAP. Very sorry for the continued hassles, and also that you are getting way more than your share of problems on something that should have zero.

Unless I missed some text on the website I need to change we are currently shipping around 15-20 business days. PM me your order number and I would be happy to have the guys check on it for you.

    Same as above
