Question for all Victory and Prinsu owners. Does the front and rear fairing sit higher than the cross bars? May be a dumb question but I've been looking at these racks and want to be able to carry things that are longer than the rack but dont believe putting weight on either fairing would be a good idea. Cant really tell from pics and dont know anyone that owns one that I could look at in person. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Just pulled the trigger:santa: more then what I will need on the victory but love the look and ability to mount stuff if I'm not wrong. On my stock truck, I'm doing it wrong:facepalm:

I agree. I just put my Prinsu together on my floor. At the lowest setting, the fairing is almost exactly one inch lower than the cross bars.

That's good news. Any input from Victory owners out there?

Thanks Daryl, I sent an email to info@ on Monday and am waiting to hear back. It’s a busy week with Thanksgiving and Black Friday so I understand it may be a few days.

For anyone dealing with it, I had a ton of nose with my Victory rack until I moved the front bar all the way back. It’s much quieter now.

Did you end up buying that one? I bought a 41" light bar that fits perfectly in the cutout without having to modify it but the bar itself isn't very bright.

I've been looking at that one too. Also like the 20% off coupon right now.

The 40" light bar that you asked picturethis about a few post back. My concern is it looks like the housing is 42.03 in wide and the Victory only accepts 41.25 in wide light bar. Wonder if it will still fit.

The bars are the highest component. I bought mine to haul a canoe, ladders, etc and it works great for that. Just don't order some crazy light bar.

That's good. Do you think if I went with the light bar cut out with a slim single row light bar that the cross bars would still be taller than the top of the light bar? Cant decide which direction to go with regards to getting a light bar or not. I dont want anything resting on the fairing or light bar if I carry something longer than the rack.
