Ok so I have about $1200 to play with right now and I was pretty set on an ome lift, but I just keep thinking I can do more with that money right now and save for some icons down the road instead. So the things id like to get accomplished would be:
    -16" Method Double Standards
-Armor Tech Offroad Hybrid Front Bumper
    -Satoshi (Raptor Style)
    -retrofit bhlm

Now I know I can't accomplish all this within my budget, I just wanted some advice from some fellow members to get me headed down the right path. The truck is still relatively stock, just 265/75 mudders, debadged, plasti dip grille and lower bumper, 10" sub. My truck is white btw.

You would be surprised how much a set of new wheels will change the look of your car. You will definitely have enough left to either do your satoshi grill or retrofit, or even both if you can budget it.

Whats your goal of direction for the truck? You want a show/mall crawler get wheels first. You want to take it off road do armor first then lift then wheels grille last

    What I did was
    Exhaust
    Tint
    Lift
    Tires

Then added a few things as time went on.

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
    Need alot more info first.

As others have said, is this a mall crawler or something you want to take off-road? If off-road, what type, groomed trails, mudding or crawling?

If your intent is to off-road in the mud or crawl, it takes alot more than a lift. A lift doesn't give you ground clearance. All it does is increase your clearances so you can install taller tires (which is what give you the increased clearance). Depending on how high you plan on going and engine/tranny setup, you may need new gears at which point you might as well look at lockers. So, with a $1200 budget, you'll quickly use it up and still be short.

If you're new to the sport, take it easy at first. Find some trails, see what your Tacoma is capable of and go from there. You may find that your 31" tires and suspension are good enough for what you want to do. In that case, invest in armor suck as rock sliders, skid plates, bumpers. That too will quickly eat your budget but can be done incrementally without leaving your truck in pieces.

If its a mall crawler, I can't help you on that one.

If you are doing this yourself you should be able to afford lift, bhlm & satoshi.

Like above what are your long term plans? If you plan on an off road beast armor then the rest if you are not going to be wheeling as much as just commuting then yah wheels, tires n chip away at the rest!!

I did wheels n tires as when i bought used the tires were shot and wheels were beat up (shoulda just plasti dipped em), then lift, wether techs, then as time and money allowed bhlm, grill and on and on and on and on and on...... Is there counseling for this mod thing that i cannot get outta my brain??

I vote saving your $1200 and grow it some, then invest it.

For all intensive purposes it will be a mall crawler cause I'm scared to mud it after my last truck went for a swim while doing so (why I have a tacoma now lol). I do a fair amount of hunting and trailing, but I want it to look better than it performs offroad right now. I really want some sliders that can double as step bars also, I've been looking at the Armortech ones for $200

    So your undecided.

Good tires, 5100's & aal. This way you can get your truck to & through your immediate needs while saving for your lt kit.
