PRNDL back light plate?

I've seen the mods to replace the light, but what about the actual "prindle"...?

Particularly the face plate that the light illuminates depending on what gear you're in (auto trans, obviously).

I've been trying to see if there's somewhere I can get that component but not end up buying the entire assembly. Mine is cracked so replacing it is my aim. Don't know how the hell it got cracked as it was that way when I got it.

Have not tried salvage yards because my schedule is too crazy and my google-Fu has turned up bupkis...

Well, I went ahead and ordered it so I guess we'll see when it shows up... Going to replace the light under there while I'm at it.

Once all that's done I'll update the thread, as if anyone actually cared, haha!

 

That look more like the little mat that goes in the shifter bezel piece tray.

The PRND piece is part of a sub assembly.

 

Well, it will be exciting to open the package to see what I got, then.

Appears to be part number 35921-35210 "Plate"



Only places I can see it for sale is of off dealership sites... for 35 bucks!

Guess I may be trying to find time to go to a salvage yard after all.

 

$35 isnt a lot of money to really spruce up your interior with a new gear indicator.
