So I've checked on several sites and I have called several manufactures and I am getting a mix of "yes that will work" and "no it won't" responses. I just returned from Afghanistan about 2 months ago and with some of my saved up money purchased the 5" Tough Country Lift for my tacoma. I have a 2002 Tacoma 4x4 extend cab, 2.7 ltr, 4 cyldr. Me and one of my good buddy's I deployed with plan on installing the lift here shortly and I've come to the stage of wheels and tires purchase. I would like to run the 15x8 Pro Comp Black Steele wheels that I have seen several Tacomas with as well as 33x12.50-15 tires to a accompany them. I'm being told that the 15x8 x6x5.5 lug pattern and 3.75 backspace wheels will not fit because of the space needed for the calipers. Could someone give me a definite answer on this or a way to make all ended meet between the lift and new wheels and tires?! -Thank y'all!
