Just to save some people the aggravation that I just went through. I just bought a 2010 DC in Pyrite Mica and put a 3" leveling kit on it. Now it was time for the rims and tires. I wanted to take advantage of the pro comp special on the tires and rims so I ordered the 1069-6883 rims and some 265/75/16 all terrain tires. Was told it would fit. 16x8 with 4" backspacing. Just to double check myself, I talked with the Pro Comp rep today and he told me it definitely would not fit. It will not clear the caliper. I just frantically called the place where I ordered them from and they said they would cancel the order and not charge me a restocking fee since nothing was done yet but that will probably be another thread here. Anyway lesson learned. The strange thing is that people on this forum said they have those wheels on their Tacoma's

When I got my wheels I was told that Dick Cepek DC-1's would not fit, but I know there are plenty of people running them.

From what I understand, they should be 4.5" backspacing? Someone confirm that.

The strange thing is that my son has a 2005 Tundra DC with 16x8 Mickey Thompson classic II rims with 285/75/16 Dick Cepek tires. I was curious last night so I put his rims on my truck and guess what -- they fit. The 285 tire rubbed a little bit on the mud flaps but other than that it fit fine over the caliper with room to spare. The backspacing on those rims is 4 7/8 ".
