Pro Comp 8069 or 1079?

yeah that would be sick im on the hunt for new wheels too so if you stumble across some post some pics like wise if i do of course

thanks for all the input guys. so pretty much the 1079, 8069, and all the other soft 8 style wheels from pro comp are the same wheel just different finishes? i'm asking b/c i wonder if the ones on 4 wheel online all have the same backspacing or not

 

black on tan trucks is great. like my blacked out stock wheels.

 

I think you should do the polished man! Just be different and do polished with black lugs and center like you want!

 

idk Guys, I've always thought that black on the tan truck really made em pop. Looks sexy as hell.

 

pretty sure i'm going with the polished with black lugs and and centers if i can find them. i called 4wheelonline and after talking to the guy that seemed very confused i found that the 1079's are the exact same ones that wheelers had, only their 20 bucks cheaper and come with centers

kind of off topic, but does anyone know if u can get bfg at's w/o the whitewall lettering?

 

I think some sizes are blackwall only. But these tires are not directional so you can always put the whitewalls on the inside when you mount them so the lettering wont show.

 

o ok thanks man, i want to get 32x11.5's and the bfgs are super cheap in that size, used to have a pair on my 98 reg cab before it was bought back and they held up well, wayyy better than the last 2 sets of generics that i've gotten

 

Sure thing! Besides, except for rare situations, black sidewalls out just looks better.

i think that would be a good choice.. as stated above, it goes good with your truck color...

 

i say chrome just make sure its chrome and not polished alum.

 

well they are polished aluminum but i think that would look better since there is no chrome left on my truck and i'm thinking the aluminum will accent the taillights, headlights, and WV symbol on the back of my truck

 

I think polished alum looks just as good as chrome and it is way easier to maintain.

 

well after talking to the ol girlfriend, she thinks i should get the 8069's since i blacked everything else out and then get a chrome center so it compliments the toyota symbol up front and the WV symbol in back
